Each piece I create for vargasvargas is handcrafted and unique, reflecting my personal taste and aesthetic principles. A poem to the imperfect.

I work both on the pottery wheel and  with the hand building technique, experimenting with different clays, tools and glazes.

Usually, the process involves various detail-oriented  steps, such as throwing or sculpting, trimming, sanding, painting,  glazing and of course, two rounds of firing – the first at about 950 °C, and the second at about 1250 °C.
